Nieuw-Lekkerland
Op maandagavond 15 November omstreeks 19.00 uur is brandweer Nieuw-Lekkerland opgeroepen voor een vrachtwagenbrand langs de Veerweg in Nieuw-Lekkerland (ter hoogte van Hoefnagel).
Ter plaatste bleek alles gelukkig mee te vallen. De brandweer heeft met de warmtebeeldcamera enkele metingen verricht.
De koelleiding is defect geraakt en daardoor kwam er koelvloeistof op de uitlaat van de vrachtwagen, waaruit rook ontstond.
Een monteur van Scania is ter plaatse gekomen om de koelleiding te repareren.
On Monday evening, November 15, around 7 p.m., the Nieuw-Lekkerland fire brigade was called for a truck fire along the Veerweg in Nieuw-Lekkerland (near Hoefnagel).
Everything turned out to be okay on site. The fire brigade carried out a number of measurements with the thermal imager.
The cooling pipe has malfunctioned and as a result coolant got onto the exhaust of the truck, from which smoke arose.
A Scania technician has arrived on site to repair the cooling pipe.
